Javier Rivas Ghersi served as an officer since his Sophomore year and served as FMA Co-President during the ‘24-‘25 school year. Jacob Pavlasek
Treasurer (2023-2024)
During my tenure with FMA, I progressed from just an eager member to Treasurer, playing a pivotal role in the organization's strategic expansion. I spearheaded initiatives that effectively tripled membership attendance and built our reputation throughout McCoy. I managed the organization's capital with a focus on sustainable growth to ensure maximum liquidity for our operational needs.
John Biegle
Employer Engagement (2024-2025)
I currently live in Hawai’i with my wife and work with an independent RIA. We do financial planning and wealth management for individuals and businesses. My day-to-day includes meeting with clients, developing financial plans and cash flow projections, and developing strategies to address gaps in clients' financial pictures. During my time at TXST FMA, I got to do my two favorite things: learn about finance and make friends. I was the employer outreach officer, so I helped build our network and coordinate guest speakers. My biggest accomplishment was working alongside my fellow officers to establish our first official banking sponsorship, securing funding that would take FMA to the next level.
